Couldn't the same be said for equipping our world with an inclusive common language?
Maybe global population will stop rising and resources will stop running out and sea levels won't displace billions of people, and it won't be important for us to be able to include all people in understanding what needs to be done to cope and change things so that none of us panic and do stupid things we'll regret.
So maybe our kids will be confidently bilingual, globally aware and better equipped to learn other languages for nothing!
