Montessori schools offer children a rich environment, with special equipment which is designed for independent learning.
Children work at their own pace and have some choice about the timing of their attention to different subject matter.
Until now, most Montessori schools had to suspend their approach to accommodate LOTE education delivered exactly as it is usually delivered in mainstream schools- once a week, in a group lesson lead by a visiting Language specialist, usually without Montessori training.

Teachers can teach groups or individuals at the appropriate rates and children can follow up with practice, consolidation and creative application challenges.
